I'm Michael Romeo, a Brooklyn-based womenswear designer and a 2026 graduate of Parsons School of Design. My work is grounded in couture techniques, fine tailoring, and a deep respect for artisanal craft.
I approach design as both a technical and intuitive process — balancing structure and softness, precision and experimentation. I'm particularly drawn to the discipline of hand construction and the intimacy it creates between garment and wearer. Each piece I make is an exploration of proportion, material, and form, developed with careful attention to detail and finish.
Working primarily in womenswear, I'm interested in how clothing can shape presence while still feeling personal and considered. My goal is to create pieces that reflect the rigor of traditional atelier practices while evolving them into something modern, expressive, and lasting.
